Xyla De Vera is a 26 year old Filipina nurse blogger. She works in a medical ward in a well-known private hospital somewhere in Metro Manila.She turns a year older every 26th of July. She earned her BSN degree in Far Eastern University (Manila). She's currently taking Master of Arts in Nursing, Major in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the same school. She also plans to take Master of Science in Nursing in the future probably in another country. Her nursing goals are the following: 1) to teach nursing students and 2) to be a nurse leader.
Xyla fancies pink stuff, colorful things, notebooks and journals, shoes, printed dresses, polka dots, hearts and stars. She prefers shopping in a thrift store than in mainstream stores.
She likes dyeing her own hair. She aims to get a red hair in the future. She is not allowed for now because of the rules in the hospital. She also likes painting her nails. In the hospital, she wears nude colors. On her rest day, she paints her nails red, pink, violet and navy blue.
Xyla has been suffering from endometriosis since 2007. She has undergone two major operations (explore lap, man!): one was elective (2008) and the other one was emergency (2009).
