Facebook Greetings

So Facebook tells me that three people are celebrating their birthday today. One is a relative and two are batch mates in FEU.  So what's the big deal with this?

Well, to be honest, I don't really greet every birthday celebrant on my Facebook list. Look, I don't want to be hypocrite here. We weren't even friends back in college/high school. They don't even know I exist. They just added me because they found out that I am friends with their friends. You get what I mean? So when I greet them, that still doesn't change the fact that we still barely know each other. Again, I don't want to be a hypocrite here.

Let me clear things out before I get gazillion hate messages. There's nothing wrong with greeting those people on your list. It's not a sin. This is just me, the mean me. Lol. I just want to be true to myself that if Facebook didn't exist, I wouldn't be aware of their birthdays anyway unless they text me and say, "Hey, you're cordially invited to my birthday party". On a lighter note, thanks to Facebook because I sometimes forget that a close friend is celebrating a birthday. Haha!
