Where has the time gone? It's already February! And today or should I say, tonight is my first night duty. It has been 2 years since I worked on a graveyard shift. I am kinda anxious and excited about it. I don't know why. Maybe because I am not yet familiar with the tasks for night duty since the previous hospital where I worked on a graveyard shift has different policies with the hospital where I am currently working now.
Anyway, I bought a lot of 3-in-1 coffee sachets. I really need a lot of dose of caffeine because I am a morning person. I don't like staying up late. And I am not even sure if caffeine will still work in my body. I still feel sleepy when I drink coffee. Lol.
Yesterday was full of patient's demands and complaints. I almost lost my temper because the pain reliever for one of my patients wasn't available in our station. I charged 3 pills at the pharmacy but it was delivered to our station after 2 fucken hours. I should have just gotten it from the pharmacy myself than waited for our orderly to get it. Whatever happened to him? He didn't even reply to our messages. Imagine how much the patient suffered for 2 hours! I had to apologize a lot of times to my patient because of what happened.
On a lighter note, I don't have work on February 14. It's my day off. Yey! But... I am from night duty so I guess I will just sleep the whole day. No Valentine's day date. It's really nothing special since TJ and I can date anytime we like and cliche as it may sound, for me and TJ, everyday is Valentine's Day! Haha!
