I don't need a smart phone. I need a GENIUS phone.

Last November 2010, my brother and I were two of the hundreds of people who lined up at 8 in the morning in SM North Edsa and ran like Elma Muros towards the LG stores to be able to avail the new smart phone, LG Optimus One. Unfortunately, we weren't the lucky ones to buy it at a very low price. We went home with a sad face then.

Last week, my boyfriend,  a game tester in Gameloft Philippines, was assigned as one of the Android team who will test the games created for Android phones. As an Android game tester, he had the chance to use the newest phone by LG which is LG Optimus 2x (that's what they're using in their office). You don't know how much he was amazed by this phone. When he went home that day he first used LG Optimus 2x, he kept on talking about it. He just praised the phone without even asking me how my day went! "Ang bilis love! Maganda talaga siya. Bibili ako nito pag nakaipon!" I almost got jealous of LG Optimus 2x! He couldn't stop thinking about it that he wanted to trade in his other Android phone! (Buti na lang, hindi ako ang itetrade niya for this phone! Haha!)

Being a stalker girlfriend that I am (haha!), I researched about this new phone he's been talking about. That's what I do when he talks about a girl he met. Haha! During my research, I also find out that LG released another phone which is the LG Optimus Black!  And damn, he's right and... I'm wrong. It's not just a smart phone but indeed a GENIUS phone. You know why?

Who wouldn't be amazed with its CPU? Guys, it's NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 2!! A dual core for a phone, guys! I couldn't imagine how fast this phone can run! One thing that I am looking for a phone is its capacity to respond in an instant. I hate waiting for an app to open so having this phone... I mean... this GENIUS phone is definitely an advantage to a person like me who likes downloading Productivity and Social apps in the Android Market.

One more thing, as a blogger I need to at least post pictures in my blog for my readers not to get bored with a pure-text entry. This genius phone can definitely be an advantage to my blogging purposes as this has an 8 megapixel camera that I can use! I don't need to buy a new camera since it's output is like that of a DSLR. I don't need to show off a big camera when I can brag this GENIUS phone with an 8 megapixel camera, right? "May DSLR ka nga, may GENIUS phone ka ba?!" Haha!

And look, this GENIUS phone also has an HD multimedia feature. With this feature, I don't think I'll get bored ever again. I can maximize it by watching movies or series I've missed. I can listen to music like I am in a studio with the artist/singer. And I can also attach my phone to our flat screen at home and use it as a DVD player for downloaded movies (lol) and series and feel like watching in a theater with surrounds!

Damnit. I never thought such thing could amaze me like that. Now I know why my boyfriend kept on talking about it. If stealing is not a sin, I could have asked my boyfriend to steal their LG Optimus 2x so I don't need to join this contest just to win this GENIUS and WOW-able phone. Haha! Of course, I'm kidding.

LG definitely improved for the better to satisfy the people's needs. Good job! I can't wait to feel LG Optimus Black and Optimus 2x with my bare hands.

Optimus is more than just smart. It’s genius. Visit lgoptimus.ph for more information!
