Bye, MS6. Hello N5.

So I haven't blogged here for a while. Guess what? I'm now 26! Lol. Haven't had the chance to blog because I was (or still am) busy with my new business, Organic Suds. It's an online (and offline) shop for Organic Products such as soaps (anti-acne, whitening, anti-aging, moisturizing, etc.), shampoo, conditioner, lotion, creams and the like. I decided to put up a business because first, I wanted to share the wonders of natural products. Less chemicals, less harm to your skin. Second, I want to start saving for my future. I've always wanted to put up a business. I am actually aiming to get a stall in a mall soon (like maybe 1-2 years from now). For now, I am using Tomato and Lime Soap in the morning or before I go to work to reduce the size of my pores then I use Lemongrass Toner before I put on my make-up. At night (or after work), I use Pineapple and Cucumber Soap to cleanse and tone my face then Lemongrass Toner before I go to sleep. I love the toner because it's really refreshing. Last month, I've gained Php7000 worth of orders and it's amazing that my buyers are loving it. :) Some of my buyers would love to sell the same products to their friends and family. Yay for this!

So anyway, the reason for my entry's title is that last month, I was rotated at Medical Suites 6th floor where OB and Pedia patients are admitted. The monthly rotation of nurses is part of the Nursing Administration and Education's project to give the nurses a training experience to a different ward. Since N5 caters medical-surgical cases, we were rotated to OB and Pedia ward. Their ward only admits a maximum of 11 patients but since 2 of the suite rooms are out of order, we only had a maximum of 9 patients. I can say that the staff nurses there are very lucky because this ward is not as toxic as our ward, N5. I usually go home early and I still smell fresh from the shower compared to N5. There was one time on our night duty that I was able to sleep for 2 freaking hours. Haha! That's a violation but I swear, I had no other tasks to do! I don't feel tired when I was in MS6. I can actually go for a 16-hour straight duty. Haha! I'll definitely miss that ward. I also had a different experience since the patients there are rich. They are super pampered unlike in N5. Hehe! Of course, I will also miss the people there who were very accommodating. I had fun chitchatting with them. And oh, I gained weight! Well, that's because we always eat there.

As for my birthday, I celebrated it at an earlier time (July 23) with my family and TJ. Then on the day itself, we (me, my sister, TJ, TJ's bestfriend, and Gillian) went to Redbox to claim my prize from Chuvaness.com.

Sad to say, we went home early because of the typhoon. We were s upposed to stay there until 11 pm but my father kept on texting us to go home early. >_< I don't feel like I am already 26 because of my parents' curfew. :((

Anyway, here's my boyfriend's birthday gift including a couple necklace (not included in the picture).

It's a Paris-inspired Planner. :)

  1. Wow, free Redbox for your birthday! Too bad you had to go home early. I think our parents are the same when it comes to curfew, well, I don't really have a curfew, but they do tend to nag me to go home when I'm out, and I am much older than you. LOL
