My 2012

Images from weheartit.com

I don't have a new year's resolution. I only make plans and set goals. That's it.

Plans:

  • learn to drive again. My parents recently bought a new car which my brother named Derpina. Haha! I told myself that once I become a clinical instructor, I should be able to drive my own car to school.

  • get a red-der hair. Well, I am a hair dye enthusiast. Sucks that I can't get the shade that I want because of my job... I'm thinking about getting a pink hair for two weeks (during my vacation leave). Any hair dye suggestions? I'm thinking about buying Manic Panic.

  • enroll in a music school. Just so you know, my first love is to perform in front of many people. I like to dance, sing and act. I used to be a performer back in high school and college but I pursued another path because of my parents. So this year, I'm planning to enroll in a music school for a couple of months and get a chance to sing in front of many people again.

  • travel. Nurses' salary here in the Philippines is not enough to suffice my wants... I'd like to travel and just unwind and appreciate everything around me that I didn't see before. First stop: Pagudpod with my family. :) The last time I went there was 6 years ago and we weren't able to savor our time there due to time constraints.

  • be single for a year. Enjoy my time alone. Improve myself physically, emotionally, spiritually and professionally.

  • be a compliant patient. I haven't seen my doctor for a year. I haven't undergone follow up ultrasound. Let's hope this is not cancerous. :)

  • fix my blogs. They are all fucked up. Haha!

Goals:

  • finally graduate. Please. Please. Please. So much money has been wasted for this thesis. I need to graduate this March!!!

  • write more interesting stuff. I missed being part of some prestigious blog awards across our country. And in order for me to be eligible again, I need to write seriously.

  • save money. I've been spending a lot on food, shopping and things-I-don't-really-need-but-I-still-buy-because-I-find-them-really-cute. Okay, I am turning 27 this year and it's shameless that I haven't saved a lot... :(

  • more active and meaningful daily life. I want to join an organization but I haven't chosen a particular group where I could volunteer.
