February Blackberry Photos

Just some of the photos from my BB girl.

  1. At Moonleaf Tea Shop. Sigh. Wrong spelling is wrong! Zyla, Xyna, Zaila, etc. I will now change my Twitter account to @sailadev. HAHAHA!
  2. My messy work place at work. I was the night shift charge nurse. Doctor's orders, IV sheet board, coffee, endorsement logboook, different pens, post-its where follow-ups, laboratories, procedures, and CBG monitoring are written.
  3. Pesto cooked by my brother after my PM duty.
  4. Chicken and Mushroom Fusilli cooked by yours truly before I went to work.
  5. Beautiful flowers from the unknown. :) Lol. It's for a patient's relative who was celebrating her birthday that time.
  6. Alodia at the animal clinic.
  7. Human Heart Nature Facial Wash. The only product that worked on my pimples for a long time. :)
  8. Beach please. Can't wait for our summer outing on April. :)

Long VL Diaries: Day 17 - 19

My long vacation leave is finally over. Tonight at 11 pm, I'm going back to work. Night shift + charge nurse = OHNOES! What is life! I'm so sad that our head nurse didn't grant my request. Before I went for a vacay, I told him not to appoint me as a charge nurse on my 1st day of work primarily because I don't have any idea with our patients' cases. In addition, it will be my first time to be a charge nurse. Being a perfectionist that I am, I'd like to prepare myself when I become a charge nurse. As a medication nurse, I always see to it that I don't commit mistakes. I'm proud to say that I have never written an incident report on my first year as a medication nurse. Now that I'm few steps ahead including 7 juniors behind me, our head nurse is expecting  a lot from me and I don't want to fail him and most especially myself. So good luck to me later.

Anyway, last Friday (Day 17) I spent my night until dawn with my high school best friends. Elena who's now residing in Hawaii came home for a visit until God knows how long. We stayed at Elena's house, had dinner and checked our batch mate's Facebook accounts. Lol!! We were like, "Ohmygod! Siya na yan?!" Hahaha! It's like everything we talked about that night are high school stuff and people. I think the good thing about us is that we never "get old" figuratively and literally speaking. Hehe!

Photobooth session. Thanks Elena for the chocolates!
On the 18th Day, I was supposed to spend it with my online-turned-offline best friends. Our original plan is to go to Enchanted Kingdom because the last time I went there is like more than a decade ago. Haha! Since the plan didn't push through, Karen and I (like always! Haha) spent our afternoon in TriNoma, ate snacks at Coffee Bean, talked about our lovelife and ended up buying make-ups. Haha!! Before we went home, we were fortunate enough to see Divine Lee again in person (we first saw her during the Blogger's United event). I swear, I really love her! Queen mother of becky! <3 Hehe!

When I got home, I tried the pink lipstick I bought. I'm eyeing on different hot and light pink lipsticks but I settled for the cheapest since I don't know if it suits me well. What do you think?

Taken from my iPad
On the last day (Day 19), I woke up early to be able to attend the morning mass. I know that I have been negligent with my duties as a Catholic so yesterday I made sure I get to attend the mass in order to ask God for guidance in my life and at work.

After the mass, my parents decided to buy the Shih Tzu that TJ's friend posted on her Facebook a few days ago. Thanks to TJ who made the transactions with his friend. We went to Cubao at 1 PM to get the Shih Tzu. He was first named Peepo but we decided to name him Ashton afterwards. My sister wanted to name him Liempo after Divine Lee's pup but Mama didn't like it. Since Alodia was named after the Cosplayer, we thought of naming the other pup after the sister, Ashley. Since he's a he, we then named him Ashton. Hahaha!

Ashton was very suplado at first. He's trying to adapt to his new family.

Ashton and Alodia. So cute! <3

So there goes my long VL... Looking forward to my long vacay again next year! Hoping to blog about my action packed experiences in the hospital when I find time!

Long VL Diaries: Day 11

Mama woke us up at 7 am. Actually, the night before that I didn't notice that I fell asleep. The last time I can remember is that I lied on my bed at 9 pm... and was surprised that it was already 7 am the next day. I must have been really tired!

So, we went to Kabigan Falls in Pagudpod. Before reaching the beautiful scenery of the waterfalls, we had to trek for 30 minutes. The entrance is Php 30 per adult which includes the fee for the tour guide as well. Very cheap! :) My brother, father and I decided to walk with the tour guide and the rest of the gang had a "carabao ride" because of our packed baon.

Ahihi. "Papontang Falls"

Papa said, "O anak. Picture. Jumpshot!!" Hahaha! Because I am an obedient daughter...

Papa being a photobomber. I swear, the water was ice cold! Freezing to death talaga!

Yehessss...

Then on our way back, I tried the "carabao ride". Woot.

Next stop: Patapat Bridge. This was the one we missed in 2006 because when we got here, it was already in the evening so we didn't get the chance to see how beautiful this place is. So glad to finally see it at day time. :)

Next stop: Blue Lagoon. (My favorite!!!) Just check the pics and you'll know why this is my fave. :)

Just seeing this view from our car really made me so excited!

Gumaganun...
Oh... Ansaveehhh? Haha! This place... So... beautiful. Nakakainlove! :) We didn't swim here because it was too hot. We just ate lunch, then have ourselves mesmerized by this lovely place. :) It's also very windy in this place that our cottage kept on rocking while we were eating lunch. Haha!

Last for today: Back to Saud Beach where we immersed ourselves to the cold blue salty water. My cousin does skimboarding and surfing in San Juan, La Union so we took that opportunity to learn about skimboarding. It's an advantage if you're a skater... But I am not... So...

Obligatory solo picture for DP's lol

Really had fun on my Day 11. :) If only I could stop the world from turning... Choz!

Long VL Diaries: Days 9 - 10

Just got home from my Ilocos tour. I enjoyed and fell inlove with the place. It was worth the wait but really bitin. I actually wanted to stay there until this week if only I could do it alone. Haha! Anyway, I'm just gonna blog a few details of my Days 9 to 12. I am not in the mood to describe everything because... I had an acute gastroenteritis on Day 12. As of this moment, I still don't feel well. I have been in and out of the toilet; this upset stomach really sucks.

Day 9

  • Tiring day! Dyed mama's hair then bleached and dyed my sister's hair. Then did it on my own as well.
  • Phone call from TJ's mom. Oh how I missed her! I'm really thankful that I have found a second mom in her. Her love and support are overwhelming despite the recent break-up. She never changed. I think that the hardest part in a break up is sometimes you also have to cut the communication with the family. Surprisingly, they never did. They still call me from time to time. They still give words of encouragement and motivation. They even give me the assurance that I will always be a "daughter" to them. Aside from my parents, they inspire me to fulfill my dreams and to do what is right and what is best for me. Sadly, we only talked for a few minutes. It was actually a scheduled phone call but I had to do some errands so the call was cut short. So... we're gonna schedule it again. Hehe! Nevertheless, tita's phone call made me very happy that day. :)
  • Packed my stuff
  • Left Manila at 12:30 am.
Day 10
  • Arrived in La Union at 4:30 in the morning to fetch our relatives (mom's side) who came with us.
  • Left La Union at 5-5:30 am.
  • Breakfast at Jobee in Candon.
  • First Stop: Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
They say that this place is haunted. When we went there, it's closed. :(

A very nice view from the top. With Kit (cousin), papa and Aeron (Kit's son)
  • Next: Kapurpurawan Rock Formation (My second favorite among the places we visited!)
Gonna climb up there!

Haha! Had a hard time climbing but the fear and pasmadong kamay was worth it. Hahaha!

  • Then headed to the place we rented. I've read about Ate Cathy and Kuya Lenzer's tour package in GirlTalk so that's where we stayed. Ate Cathy is very accommodating. I don't remember meeting Kuya Lenzer though. Anyway, it was my brother who talked to them. Apparently, he knows about them too! Finally, after 6 years... I've seen Pagudpod Beach once again. The last time I went there with my family and papa's office mates was during their company outing. And that's like before I took the board exam. Haha!

Saud Beach in Pagudpod. <3

  • Then in the afternoon of the same day, we headed to Bangui Windmills. It was so cold there! Windy kung windy ang peg!! It's really nice to know that we still have these in our country. So amazing! :)

After seeing the windmills, we went back to Ate Cathy's and had dinner. T'was a simple dinner but kinda looked like a feast! Haha! Will be back to blog about my Day 11 and 12 :)
